Our Services
F&A Professional is a Christian Social Enterprise registered in Rwanda in 2019. It combines effective business practices with social, cultural and charitable considerations to change the lives of those in need. We strive to help alleviate poverty by providing sustainable and affordable community led solutions. We identify and develop creative and affordable alternatives to unhealthy, environmentally harmful and expensive fossil fuels.
Shelter me Program (Social Hostel Services):
Thousands of people in rural and poor communities of Rwanda suffer from lack of access to proper healthcare and lack of access to services due to expensive living conditions of patients and their caregivers once transferred to referral hospitals in Kigali. To respond to this challenge, F&A Professional initiated a Social Hostel, near referral Hospitals in Kigali, in a calm and comfortable area to take care of low-income outpatients whose treatment requires long queue or takes several days. Staying patients are offered a transport to the medical center or hospital and served with hot meal over their stay.
Palliative care and counseling services
Patients with chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes, kidney failure are provided with adequate care at the hospital and are linked with appropriate medical services. A palliative social worker takes care of them either at their homes and takes them to the hospital if needs be.
Elderly care services
It has been observed that as Rwanda advances towards middle income country, most of old parents are found themselves lonely at home with no one to take care of them. F&A Professional provides qualified social workers to cater for old generations for their day-to-day needs.
Meals for the needy
F&A Professional provides healthy food to needy persons being treated at referral hospitals. Due to a big number of those in need compared to available resources at F&A Professional, we also link beneficiaries to other stakeholders who should provide food supplement.
Psycho-social rehabilitation
F&A established a rehabilitation center for those with psycho-social problems and drug addiction to help them re-gain hope and dignity. These are provided with counselling therapeutic support.
After-care community reintegration
F&A Professional provides community reintegration services to patients who spent a long time out of their homes for treatment. These are mostly found in extreme poverty as most of their income was used to cover medical treatment cost.
